Spendata continues to score well on the Spend Matters Solution Map. We are grateful to the Spend Matters analysts and to our customers for their positive reviews.

Our position at the top right of the Map means that Spendata scored highly on both customer value and on Spend Matters' analyst ratings.

The Nimble/SME Persona contains Spend Matters' most useful assessment of the analytical power of a spend analysis solution. That's because for this Persona, there is a higher weighting of analysis capability than of add-on modules or services.

Each of SM's Personas is scored using a custom weighting of the questions on a SolutionMap RFI. A significant number of the spend analysis RFI questions relate to modules that have little to do with spend analysis, or relate to services that have nothing to do with software. These questions are ranked more highly for other Personas, who are assumed to be less interested in analytics than in outsourced services or the tangential modules sported by suite and suite-wannabe solutions.

We don't see any evidence of this differentiation. Our large customers are deeply interested in analyzing and monetizing their data, and they use Spendata’s analytical power to its maximum. When our customers desire outsourced services, we steer them to one of our world-class consulting partners — a better alternative, we think, than the services arm of a software company.
